“It is hard to be happy in your life when you are unhappy in your relationship. Couples therapy brings you closer to your partner but it is also an investment in your own happiness.”
About Stacey
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate with over twenty years of using my counseling experience in counseling, government, corporate America, and education. After receiving my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology in 1992, I started my career counseling individuals, couples, families, and groups. My former husband of 26 years and I have four teenage children and one tween. With my varied background, pursuits, and experiences, I am passionate about working with couples, individuals, and families to enhance their life experience and ‘go deeper’.
What happens in therapy?
I work heavily with couples to ‘go deeper’. Whether you’re coming in because you feel like more like roommates than a married couple or you just can’t seem to get past the same fight, I will work with you to go deeper in your relationship. I help you and your partner to find out what the heart of the matter is and help you to overcome it. I also help you find new depths in your relationship so you can find a richer, more rewarding relationship.
I have a warm, balanced, and adaptable approach. If there is anything that you are uncomfortable talking about in therapy, there is no pressure or judgment from me. Therapy is for you and it is meant to accomplish what you want. I enjoy working with clients to identify solutions and reach resolution in a therapeutic setting that is people, learning, and meaning oriented.
What is your background?

Stacey Focuses on:
Marriage & Couples Counseling
In couple’s therapy, Stacey creates a supportive environment that allows you and your partner to express yourselves and pursue your goals for a better relationship. She helps you and your spouse communicate better, feel closer, and achieve a new kind of relationship that you didn’t know you could have.
Child and Adolescent Counseling
Stacey has years of experience working with children of all ages in an educational setting. This creates a natural environment for your child in counseling. She can help your child overcome stress, anxiety and depression that is occurring more and more in childhood. She can help your child get back to being the child you used to know.
Life Transition Counseling
Not all therapy needs to be focused on fixing things. Sometimes you just want to accomplish more. Stacey helps individuals and couples who are feeling “stuck” and want to get to the next stage – whatever that may be. Stacey helps you ‘go deeper’ to find your inherent strengths so you can live the intentional life you want to live.
